Led by experienced local guides, this authentic adventure promises a unique glimpse into the stories and sites often overlooked by the typical tourist circuit.
We’ll cruise off the-beaten-path through the vibrant neighborhoods of Black LA including Crenshaw/Baldwin Hills, where history and art collide in the most awesome ways; Central Avenue, a hub for jazz, culture and the fight for Civil Rights; West Adams, home to a wealth of architectural gems; Leimert Park, where art, music, and community spirit converge in a dynamic celebration of African American heritage; and Jefferson Park Los Angeles, home to over a dozen Historic-Cultural Monuments with diverse architecture.
During our South LA tour, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in engaging discussions, uncover lesser-known true stories about the locations, and develop a deeper appreciation for the dynamic heritage that characterizes these vibrant neighborhoods of Los Angeles. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests on the tour, please take a moment to review our tour rules and guidelines:
Age Requirements: No unaccompanied minors under 18. All minors must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older. Minimum age to attend: 8 years old.
Beverages: No hot liquids allowed in the vehicle. Please bring cold drinks only in a liquid-safe container. No alcohol is permitted.
Food Policy: No meals in the van; however, travel sized snacks are allowed.
Seatbelt Safety: Wearing seatbelts is required by law. Please ensure everyone in your party is securely belted at all times.
Smoking and Vaping: No smoking or vaping is allowed in the vehicle.
Photography and Recording: Be mindful of other passengers when taking photos or recording videos. Respect their privacy and comfort.
Behavioral Expectations: Maintain respectful behavior towards fellow passengers, the driver, and tour guides. Keep noise levels appropriate.
Punctuality: Arrive on time at least 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time to ensure a smooth departure and return. Late arrivals are not guaranteed a seat.
Personal Belongings: Keep personal belongings secure. The company is not responsible for lost or unattended items.
Cleanliness: Dispose of trash in designated bins to keep the van clean and pleasant for everyone.
Tour Guide Instructions: Follow the instructions of the tour guide and driver for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Inclement Weather: The trip will operate rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, hazardous road conditions, staffing shortages due external conditions, a natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances, the trip is subject to cancellation. Safety is our top priority. The decision to cancel a trip due to weather or other factors will be made at the owner’s discretion to ensure the well-being of all passengers and staff. In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to notify you promptly.

Our tours typically extend for about 3 hours, taking into consideration the variability of LA traffic, which may result in an earlier or slightly delayed arrival than the specified end time. A designated bathroom break is incorporated into the tour to ensure your comfort. We highly recommend you make use of the building bathroom facilities before tour departure. Moreover, there will be occasions to pause for landmark photos, providing you with opportunities to capture and cherish the memorable moments of your journey.
This tour primarily takes place in a 15-passenger van, with the majority of the journey occurring inside the vehicle. Participants will be required to step up into the van, which involves a single step and navigating to an available seat beneath a low roof. Additionally, there are optional activities during the tour that may include moderate walking. If guests require any additional accommodations or have specific needs related to a 15-passenger van, please let us know, and we will do our best to assist.
